El juego

In February 1937, after the frontal assault on Madrid had failed, the Nationalist army planned an offensive south-east of the capital to cut the Valencia road. The aim was to reach the Jarama, seize its bridges and push on towards Arganda and Alcalá de Henares. The initial surprise worked, but Republican reinforcements halted the advance and, by mid-month, the fight for the heights had turned into a static front that lasted for the rest of the war.

The game is a grand tactical simulation, with two-hour turns and companies organised into regiments, brigades and divisions. A chit-pull activation system, with a variable number of activations per turn, recreates command difficulties and delayed orders.

It is currently in playtesting. Once development is finished, we will fund it through a crowdfunding campaign.
