English Civil War recreates the war between King Charles I and Parliament, from July 1642 to late 1646. The player chooses a side and leads historical armies such as Cromwell’s Ironsides, the New Model Army or Newcastle’s Whitecoats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The map covers England, Wales, Scotland and the surrounding seas. To win you must manage resources, loyalty and leaders, take key cities such as Bristol, York or Oxford, and hold sieges or march to relieve them.
